Eyam Cottage - Darwin Lake Holiday Village - Matlock (Derbyshire)

The location overlooking the lake was beautiful, and the heating system was excellent. Despite a few minor issues, the staff were very good too address our concerns and ensure our comfort.

My stay at Eyam Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Matlock and Bakewell, two charming towns that I loved exploring. The cottage itself was clean and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view over the lake, which provided a peaceful atmosphere during my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my time there. I had a lovely experience at Eyam Cottage and would recommend it to others.

Always stay at my favorite place in Matlock. First visit, staff kindly helped me find my way. Has Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, flat-screen TV. Love the fishing and that pets are allowed. No smoking. Coming back for Easter!

The settee was not comfortable to sit on for more than 30 mins for both me and my wife. The main double bed mattress was not at all comfortable and springs could be felt.
